Spring 2022

The Farmers Market at Ix 2022 spring season is open. Even though shopping in person is most popular, several farmers and producers list items to pre-order and pick up at the market. What are the advantages? You can be sure the product won't sell out if you don't get there early, and there will be no hassles with payment.
Pick-up is at the market at the vendor's booth, unless other arrangements are made.
Enjoy the convenience of pre-ordering, and visit the other vendors at the market while you are here!
Hours are 8:00 to 12:00 from April through September.
Thanks for supporting local farms, food and arts. read more...

Summer 2021

Customers can still order from vendors on Lulu's Local Food at the Farmers Market at Ix.
For the convenience of reserving an order, or escaping a rainy forecast or hot weather, you can check out what is available from vendors participating in the Lulu's ordering platform. Arrange to pick up at your vendor's table, or make arrangements with Market Central, the managers of the market.
We are grateful for the skills and dedication of our local farmers that bring us abundant and nutritious food, in a safe manner, while we still experience shortages, resurgences, and fallout from the pandemic.
Any tax deductible donation to Market Central would be much appreciated in our efforts to support local farms and food through the Farmers Market at Ix.

Spring 2021

Welcome to Spring at the Market at Ix Art Park in Charlottesville. As the days get longer, warmer, and brighter we are beginning to see the return of growers with greens and live plants at the market. We are grateful to our stalwart vendors and customers who kept the local food supply going all winter. The delicious options of baked goods, breads, meats, mushrooms, apples, root vegetables and tempting prepared dishes has sustained us.
You may still walk through this market, but ordering on line gives you time to peruse the offerings in comfort. If you know what you want, why not preorder, reserve your choice in case supplies are short, and avoid the lines at the market?
You can still come in to see what's new when you pick up.

Thanks so much for your continued support of this market and the farmers, producers, artisans and sponsors who make it possible. And celebrate yourselves too for supporting local food businesses. Donations to our non-profit work helps keep vendor fees down, and food prices from going up. read more...
